Yesterday I completed training for the Small Business Development Corporation’s Content Management System for their website. Our masalaiCMS is gaining traction and we hope to deploy it for more website clients in PNG. The aim is to allow non-technical users to easily update content on their websites themselves so they do not have to keep coming back to us for help, which saves money and time in growing their website.

Another website client that uses our CMS is National Maritime Safety Authority and hopefully soon PNG Ports and the PNG Sustainable Development Fund as well.

So here are some words of support for our CMS from Malum Nalu of SBDC:
At last a breakthrough for the SBDC!
We are now able to update our SBDC website in-house, rather than having to go through a third party.
We have paid for new software called Content Management System (CMS), which allows us to update our website in-house.
Ricky and I attended training conducted by Emmanuel Narakobi of Masalai Communications this morning, which we thought would be technical and time-consuming, however, CMS is very simple and user-friendly.
We are now easily able to promote our products such as KAB, SIYB, and credit scheme at the touch of a button.
We can also promote small businesses in this country, the country as a whole, as well as many other things.
I am very excited about this and believe that our SBDC website can go a long way towards achieving our duty statement as well as promoting Papua New Guinea in this day and age of instant communications.
