JUSTIN WELLINGTON

Born in Lae, PNG (Papua New Guinea) to a family who had emigrated from Australia three generations before. That’s where the Island and Reggae influence comes from. Spent some of my schooling in Texas USA and High School in Canada got the taste for R&B. Performed with a few bands after leaving high school and international tours covering bands such as Boy Zone and CBD. Currently performing at regular gigs around Cairns and tours to the south pacific.

WHYLO SOUND

Whylo Sound are DJ KAT and DJ RASS.

DJ KAT or Miss Kat Stevens is a powerhouse all the way from Manus! She is the most patriotic, not only Manusian, but PNG person I know!! She is talented on the turntables’ and is not only beautiful in person but in heart!!! Miss Stevens is currently doing an engineering course at Southbank Tafe.

DJ RASS or Roselle is from Mingendi in the Simbu Province . She is originally from Simbu and is currently studying Marketing at Southbank Tafe. As a part time job and out of her own interest she joined up with Chasing Entertainment and has been a steadily growing phenomenon as part of the only PNG female DJ crew on the Australian circuit!
