So yesterday was the 2nd auditions for our Digicel Urban Bounce dance competition. Last week we had 14 teams try out and it was an encouraging crowd, but yesterday was simply amazing. I have never in my life seen so many young kids down at Ela Beach. The 15 teams that turned up certainly did not disappoint.
The dance competition is the first project from RokRok Music and Next of Kin Productions. We’re truly grateful to our friends at Digicel PNG for coming on board as our major sponsor and hopefully soon if our dear Governor Powes Parkop is not too busy then we’d like to bring him along to give his blessings to what is turning out to be a truly kids only event in Port Moresby.
So here’s a video of one of the crews performing and I’m sure you’ll agree that it’s about time we gave room for our kids to shine!
If you fancy yourself as a bit of a dancer and you want to register in the comp, then send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org or call George Tau on 721 08779 for more details.
