- Showcasing new media and technologies for social change and development.
- Hands on practical labs on how ICTs can be used by NGOs in Papua New Guinea.
- Covering Mobile Phone Strategies (SMS, IVR, Surveys), Mapping and Data Visualisation, and Social Media.
A small team from Internews Network, a non-profit organization, will be visiting Port Moresby in November to conduct a Mini Innovation Lab that will showcase how communications, new media and technologies can be used to address and solve development challenges. The Lab will also have a practical component giving participants hands on experience and a deeper insight in to the use of communications for development and innovative practices to solve problems.
